Groundbreaking Video of the New St. Joe Center Road Location.
On Wednesday, we celebrated the Groundbreaking of our new LEED Certified branch off St. Joe Center Road. 3Rivers employees were joined by members of the community and media for our now traditional “cakebreaking” as well as a few words from 3Rivers CEO Jeff Meyer about 3Rivers history in the area, the importance of the new location, and how the branch will allow us to continue to help people every day with their money matters.
The branch located just west of the Kroger’s Store at St. Joe Village near the planned Northeast YMCA should be open by the end of the year, and will eventually replace the current Maplewood Branch on Stellhorn Road. The ATM on Stellhorn will stay in the same location.
Here’s a quick video I put together of the event including what Jeff had to say. WANE TV also ran a story on the new branch.
More Groundbreaking Progress, The St. Joe Road Branch
Tomorrow at 11am we will be celebrating the ground breaking of our new branch located just off St. Joe Road at 5703 YMCA Park Drive. The branch will be west of the St. Joe Village Kroger’s store near the planned Northeast YMCA. It’s designed to offer our members an innovative service experience with a drive through, ATM, and a host of other technologies.
If you’d like to watch the progress on the new building, you can check out cameras from all of our construction sites. Here’s a look at a rendering of the new location, and we’ll have video of the event posted tomorrow.
Virtual Ribbon Cutting Emphasizes High-Tech Paperless Services at New Scott Road Location
Today marked a big step in our groundbreaking transformation. We celebrated the grand opening of our new location in the Shoppes at Scott Road with a 3Rivers first, a virtual ribbon cutting. Instead of using a cartoonishly large pair of scissors and some tape, our partners at Blue Pony, created a custom iPad app that allowed our ribbon cutters to simply swipe their fingers on the touch screen to slice the virtual ribbon. Think Fruit Ninja, or Cut the Rope for those of you who’ve played a game or two on your iPad, iPhone, or iTouch.
This virtual ribbon cutting demonstrates 3Rivers commitment to offering innovative solutions with an emphasis on paperless services in a high-tech interactive environment. Inside the branch, members will find technology designed to empower them with easy to access information on their money matters like a 65″ touch-screen and member meeting rooms.
65″ Touch-Screen
- A user-friendly and interactive interface that makes learning more about 3Rivers and your money matters easy.
- The ability to request more information via email.
- Current 3Rivers news.
Member Meeting Rooms
- Large screen monitors that make discussing the specifics of your money matters easier.
- Complete privacy.
- Paperless transactions and electronic signatures.
I was able to grab some footage of the event, and wanted to share.
Here are some photos from the groundbreaking as well as links to coverage from local media.
