Play Jenga with 3Rivers at TEDx Fort Wayne

Jess_JengaThe third annual TEDx Fort Wayne conference starts in less than 24 hours. The theme of this year’s event is IGNITE: Ideas in Commerce, Community, and Wellness, and we’re happy to be a part of it. Last year the 3Rivers mobile lounge was a place for speakers and attendees to relax and share ideas. This year we thought we’d give everyone another way to engage their brain. Stop by our lounge anytime during lunch, and play some life sized Jenga with Jess.

We’re always looking for new ways to talk about your money matters in a simple relatable way, and Jenga is a great way to do that. It’s easy to make a mistake the first time you play, and watch as all of the blocks tumble down, but with a little practice, planning, and advice from a trusted partner it’s easy to stabalize the shakiest of Jenga towers.  Your money matters can be a lot like that, but there are things you can do to reach your financial goals no matter where you are right now.

Ribbon Cutting at The Harrison

Harrison Ribbon Cutting

Yesterday, The Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce, and some of those instrumental in making the Harrison possible, celebrated the grand opening of the upscale residential and business complex.  3Rivers CEO Don Cates, Mayor Tom Henry, Whitley Manufacturing President Simon Dragan, Hagerman Group CEO Mark Hagerman, and Carson Boxberger Managing Partner Timothy Pape each said a few words to those who braved the cold long enough to join in the celebration.  They mostly talked about how instrumental they felt the new development was to the continued revitalization of downtown.  3Rivers CEO, Don Cates, talked about how important the new branch at The Harrison, and how it will allow 3Rivers to better serve it’s membership, many of whom work downtown.

After the ribbon cutting, 3Rivers hosted an open house, complete with cake.  Tours of the complex were given, and fellow Harrison tenant O’Reilly’s Irish Bar and Restaurant hosted a Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce Chamber Night.

It was my hope to provide video of each of their speeches, but a windy night and lots of background traffic noise made it difficult to save the audio.  Here’s some footage of the event including the ribbon cutting itself.  If you haven’t had a chance to stop in and see us in our new digs at The Harrison, stop by for a cup of coffee.  We look forward to seeing you.

3Rivers at The Harrison Hosting YLNI Hotspot Next Week

YLNI Logo

If you haven’t had a chance to visit our new branch at the Harrison in downtown Fort Wayne, next Thursday is a good time to stop by.  We’re hosting the Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana hotspot from 5:30-7:30pm inside our branch at The Harrison located at 301 West Jefferson Blvd.  YLNI Hotspots are a great opportunity for young professionals to connect with local leaders in a fun social setting.  The Hotspot will be catered, and will feature a cash bar.  Don’t worry if this is your first YLNI event, there will be a brief Hotspot 101 session held on site at 5:15.  You’ll have a chance to meet other new people, and learn how the night will go.  We hope to see you there.

For more information about YLNI visit ylni.org, or find them on Facebook.

3Rivers Now Open at The Harrison

Harrison Square Storefront CropUpdate: We’ve seen some media about the Harrison popping up in a few places.  As it comes in, I’ll link to it at the bottom of the article.

3Rivers at The Harrison opened today. Our newest branch gives us the opportunity to build and deepen relationships with business partners and members who live, work, and play downtown. The new branch features an open design concept with 4 meeting rooms, a Wi-Fi cafe, and an exterior ATM.  The branch will be open from 9-6 Monday through Friday and 9-1 on Saturday.  We will be closed on Sunday.

Our good friends at the Downtown Improvement District visited first thing this morning, and snapped some photos to share on facebook.  We’re looking forward to seeing the rest of you soon.  Stop in for a cup of coffee at the Wi-Fi cafe, and we’ll see what we can do to help you take care of your wallet.

The grand opening of 3Rivers at The Harrison will be in mid February.

You can find us at 301 West Jefferson Blvd. Suite 150.

Wane-TV highlighted 3Rivers as the first business to open at Harrison Square.
