Saving You Time and Money: Depositing Checks
Even in our paperless society, there is a good chance that someone is going to write you a check. Maybe you’ve got renters who pay you monthly, or a relative who sends you a check on your birthday every year. You might even be a small business owner who takes in hundreds of checks every month. No matter what your situation, we have solutions that can save you time and gas money by allowing you to deposit checks wherever you are.
Using 3Rivers Mobile Banking, you can make a deposit by taking a picture of the front and back of a check with your smartphone. As long as you make the deposit before 4pm on a business day (M-F), it will post that same day around 5pm. Deposits made after 4pm will post the following business day around 5pm. That means you can get your mail in the morning, open Aunt Sally’s card, and take care of your banking before breakfast.
To get started with mobile banking and mobile check deposit just download our iOS or Android app.
Business owners can also enjoy the benefits of not having to leave the office in order to process checks. 3Rivers offers Business Remote Deposit. We’ll help you get set up with a simple desktop scanner to take images of checks and send them securely to us. Once we receive the images, we’ll process your deposit. Below, there is a short video with more information about 3Rivers Business Remote Deposit.
To get started, contact any of our Business Representatives.
I’ll be highlighting more ways 3Rivers can help you save time and save money in the coming weeks.
3Rivers Now Open at The Harrison
Update: We’ve seen some media about the Harrison popping up in a few places. As it comes in, I’ll link to it at the bottom of the article.
3Rivers at The Harrison opened today. Our newest branch gives us the opportunity to build and deepen relationships with business partners and members who live, work, and play downtown. The new branch features an open design concept with 4 meeting rooms, a Wi-Fi cafe, and an exterior ATM. The branch will be open from 9-6 Monday through Friday and 9-1 on Saturday. We will be closed on Sunday.
Our good friends at the Downtown Improvement District visited first thing this morning, and snapped some photos to share on facebook. We’re looking forward to seeing the rest of you soon. Stop in for a cup of coffee at the Wi-Fi cafe, and we’ll see what we can do to help you take care of your wallet.
The grand opening of 3Rivers at The Harrison will be in mid February.
You can find us at 301 West Jefferson Blvd. Suite 150.
Wane-TV highlighted 3Rivers as the first business to open at Harrison Square.
Join us at the Advancing Hoosier Women in Business
Indiana Lt. Governor Becky Skillman is bringing the 6th annual Advancing Hoosier Women in Business seminar series to Fort Wayne on Friday, June 22, at the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce from 10AM to 2PM. She’ll serve as the keynote speaker, beginning at 10 and Deputy Chief, Dottie Davis from the Fort Wayne Police Department, will be our luncheon speaker at noon.
The morning panel discussion will feature 4 successful local businesswomen who will share their entrepreneurial journey. The afternoon panel discussion will feature women representing various local and statewide business resources. I’m honored to serve as part of that panel discussion.
We’re also excited that 3Rivers board member, Michelle Merritt, from the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce will be a panelist as well. Collectively, this panel will discuss the many resources that are available to women who own or are starting a business.
Hope you’ll join us for this great event. If you can make it out and would like to talk more about the money matters side of starting, growing or maintaining your business, let’s connect. Looking forward to meeting you.
Register online at fwchamber.org/hoosierwomen. Tickets are $25.00 and includes lunch.

Chestnut Branch Moves to Shoppes of Scott Road
Today, we’re happy to report that our Chestnut branch (which had been located inside the Scott’s Foods Store) has relocated to the Shoppes of Scott Road. It’s literally across the street. Not only does it feature a fresh look, drive-thru and ATM, it’s designed to welcome a new way of interacting with our members. We’re also very excited to present some engaging new technology that will help you be informed and learn more about everyday banking and other money matters. Stop in, check it out and let us know your thoughts (comments on the blog are welcomed and encouraged).
