Verify Your Homestead Exemption
HEA 1344-2009 requires that taxpayers verify their residency and eligibility for the homestead deduction. Beginning in 2013, individuals and married couples may lose their homestead deduction if they do not complete the homestead verification form. If you have not completed and returned this form (or are unsure if you have), check on your homestead deduction by contacting your County Auditor’s office:
- Adams County
- Allen County
- DeKalb County
- Huntington County
- Noble County
- Wells County
- Whitley County
- Van Wert County
- Auglaize County

ATM Power Outages
If you’re trying to take care of your money matters this weekend, there are currently a few ATMs that are down due to the storm that came through yesterday.
The ATMs located at North Clinton, West State, Maplewood, and Van Wert are currently out of order. For a list of alternate ATM locations including free to use ATMs in our shared network visit the Locations page on our website.
I’ll try to keep this post updated as the ATMs come back online.
